[Ferro-alloys.com]China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) released a report recently. According to the report, in December 2013, there was not much demand in steel market as it got colder. Steel market continued to go downward that month. As central government tried to solve the problem of overcapacity and air pollution, steel market price was likely to be stable. Meanwhile, steel export market was not optimistic. As overall economy of emerging countries slowed down, more trade friction would happen in steel market. Chinese exporters would be faced with great difficulty in 2014.
