According to the statistical data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in August 2022, Japan imported 1747.7 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight ≤55% of silicon), an increase of 112.82% month on month and 148.32% year on year. Among them, 1031 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 58.99%; 558 tons were imported from China, accounting for 31.93%.
