According to data of Trade Statistics of Japan, from January to September 2021, Japan imported 315279.201 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), an increase of 26.01% over the same period last year. Among them, 113562.87 tons were imported from China, accounting for 36.02%; 104138.768 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 33.03%.
