According to data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in August 2021, Japan imported 39022.599 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), a decrease of 0.97% over the previous month and an increase of 217.83% over the same period last year, including 16780.421 tons imported from China, accounting for 43%; and 11540.704 tons imported from Russia, accounting for 29.57%.
