According to data of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, China produced 770.7 thousand tons of premiary magnesium in 2020, down by 0.47% YoY, and the consumption of magnesium in 2020 was expected to be around 485 thousand tons, basically stayed the same with the previous year.
Thr production of magnesium in 2021 was expected to be around 955 thousand tons, and domestic consumption was expected to be around 503.5 thousand tons.
