  Adhering to the concept of green development, Masteel's pace of building a green city steel plant is accelerating, and the deep treatment of the second slag line is put on the agenda. In 2019, the comprehensive environmental treatment project of No.2 slag line of Masteel was officially established, which is also a prominent environmental rectification problem of Masteel in 2019. The project started on June 22, 2020. Considering that the original plant site is a concave steel slag yard with high, medium and low surrounding areas, the site was first leveled, with a total area of 72000 square meters, so the surrounding structures were demolished.
