In November, the nationwide output of Nickel Iron Pig (NIP) raised by 3.75% month-on-month.Its production volume reached 41.7 thousand tons. It increaded by 1.42% year-on-year. From January to November, the total nationwide output of NPI was 415.6 thousand tons. It increased by 8.47% year-on-year. In November, the output of high grade NPI raised by 4.67 month-on-month. The production volume was 38 thousand tons. The effect of electricity power restriction faded away in Inner Mongolia, and the output in Inner Mongolia increased by 19.9 month-on-month. In November, the output of low grade NPI decreased by 4.97% month-on-month. Its production volume was 3700 tons. Due to downturn of low grade ferronickel market, a plant in Southwest China halted its production in early November.

Nickel sulfate

In November, Chinese nickel sulfate output was 8800 nickel tons.The physical quantity was 40.2 thousand tons.From January to November, the total nickel sulfate output was 85.1 thousand nickel tons, and its physical quantity was 386.8 thousand tons. In November, the production volume increased by 4.09% month-on-month. The output in Tianjin and Zhejiang regions contributed to the increasing volume. The output of nickel sulfate incrased sharply in Tinjin compared to the volume in last few months. After debugging and testing for half year, the output increased to 4000 physical quantity for two consecutive months.
