Print[ferro-alloys.com]The LME nickel price varied by development of China-U.S trade war. In early period of this week, China applied for sanction to U.S in WTO . Then, LME nickel price dropped down largely. However, US Treasury Secretary Mnuchin invited China to negotiate about China-U.S trade deal on Wednesday, and the price of LME nickel rose up largely. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12595 USD/T, and its inventory was 233988 tons. Influenced by trend of LME nickel, the electrolytic nickel price went up and down.In the morning, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel (big board) at 109800 RMB/T. It was 300 RMB/T higher than the price yesterday. The barrelled small piece electrolytic nickel was quoted at 111000 RMB/T. The price of Jinchuan nickel was 109500-109700 RMB/T, and Russian nickel was quoted at 103800-104000 RMB/T.
