On Wednesday, it was said that China was making discussion with U.S about trade war. Later, U.S president Donald Trump announced that the tariff rate of $200 billion Chinese imported goods would be risen from 10% to 25%. It shocked the nickel market in LME. The price dropped down largely. Yesterday, the LME nickel was quoted at 13350 USD/T, and the inventory of LME nickel was 254070. The LME nickel price trend also affected the domestic electrolytic nickel market. The price was not steady this week.Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 111500RMB/T. It was 500 lower than the price on Thursday. The barrelled small piece electrolytic nickel was quoted at 112700RMB/T. The price of Jinchuan nickel was 111150-111250RMB/T, and the Russian nickel was quoted at 109700-109800RMB/T.
