It was seen in the last few weeks that Indian High Carbon Ferro-Chrome prices went up and reached to INR 97000-98000, due to increase in demand from Japan and South Korea. But the price drops INR 1000 this week due to low demand and no deals by the Chinese Buyers. Currently the prices of High Carbon Ferro-Chrome are 96000-97000/ex-works.

Buyers from China will only agree to buy on 1.1 USD/lb, keeping in front the latest Chinese Steel Mill prices. But Indian sellers are stopped by 1.13-1.14/lb at the moment.  China being the biggest buyer of Indian Ferro-Chrome can decrease more prices, if no deals be made the next week. Japan and Korea maintained to buy at 1.16-1.17/lb. Indian sellers are more interested in selling to the local market due to the low prices in China.
