[Ferro-Alloys.com]Russia's customs statistics shows the export result of standard ferro-silicon (Si >55%) in February 2016 was 46,737 tons, drastically up by 75.9% from 26,567 tons in the prior month.

This marks a high level for the first time in 4 months, and the export to Turkey was down, but the export to Japan, South Korea and India was up in addition to a sharp increase in the export to Netherlands, which led to the total export being grossly up from the prior month.

 

The average export unit price was US$1,027.79 per ton, slightly up by US$4.57 from US$1,023.22 in the prior month.
