The European Commission’s anti-dumping investigation of Indian silico-manganese exports is likely to have focused on lower-grade material, market participants told MB.
The commission is expected to announce preliminary anti-dumping measures on Sunday September 20. European producers have been under presssure in recent years from a rise in India's exports to the EU of low-priced, lower-grade material (with manganese content at or below 60%), Devanand Chauragade, gm at Indian SiMn producer HIRA Ferro Alloys, told MB.
