[Ferro-Alloys.com]It is reported that China totally produced 916.5 thousand tons of silicon manganese in July from 1.54 million tons in June according to data provided from State Statistical Bureau. In the first seven months, silicon manganese output in China decreased to 6.0134 million tons from 6.2031 million tons in the same period of last year.

In terms of production base, Guangxi produced 256.2 thousand tons of silicon manganese in July. In the first seven months, the total output of silicon manganese in Guangxi reached 1.4988 million tons. As of Ningxia, output for silicon manganese gained dramatically to 1.0178 million tons from January to July this year. As non-mainstream silicon manganese base, production in Hunan was 105.1 thousand tons and 790.2 thousand tons totally. As another main production base in north, output of silicon manganese in Inner Mongolia totaled 779.7 thousand tons in the first seven months.
