PrintMolycorp Inc, the biggest producer of rare earth oxides (REO) outside China, will open an office in Japan to be closer to customers in the major REO-consuming country.
The Tokyo office will "provide customer support as well as consulting and technical services to Molycorp's customers in Japan", said Moly Corp.
The office will be headed by country manager Yoshimasa Nomiyama, previously FMC Lithium's country manager for Japan.
