[Ferro-Alloys.com]Compass Metal Trading was established in 2013 although Pablo Colucci (president and founder) is not new to the scrap metal industry. Having worked in many aspects of the industry including operations and trading, CMT is a new company with experience behind it.
The vision for CMT is to become a leader in the scrap brokering industry with a focus on working closely with MRFs, dealers and industrial accounts. "We saw the opportunity to establish ourselves in the market and feel that our customer focused approach is what sets us apart from our competition." (Pablo Colucci)
From an outsiders perspective, what we do as a company is very simple, we find companies that are looking to sell scrap material (ferrous, non-ferrous, plastic etc) and help them market this material to the proper consumers.
However, when you are involved in this industry you understand all that goes into every load of material that we buy and sell. We work with our customers and consumers and one of the fun parts of this business is that every deal is different.
At CMT we are not afraid of a challenge and often encourage our customers to challenge us with material that they are having issues selling (marketing).
