[Ferro-alloys.com] According to latest statistics of China Customs, exports of Chinese ferrosilicon were 43,781 mt, over 1,000 mt more than that of 42,357 mt of August 2014.

In September 2014, the main destinations of Chinese ferrosilicon were as follows: Japan 14,126 mt, the US 11,418 mt, South Korea 5,999 mt, the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu 4,361 mt, Turkey 1,600 mt and Iran 1,231 mt.   In August 2014, Chinese ferrosilicon was mainly exported to Japan 16,181 mt, the United States of America 8,756 mt, South Korea 5,962 mt and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. The volumes of July 2014 were 20,567 mt, 9,389 mt, 8,947 mt and 3,116 mt, respectively. Thus we could find exports largely decreased to the Japan.

In the period of Q1 to Q3 2014 total export volumes of Chinese ferrosilicon were 322,305 mt, surpassing the total of 319,231 mt of 2013. Based on such situation, China was expected to become top exporter of ferrosilicon through 2014.
