Matalloy Company Limited is a Zambian company established in 1972. In 1991 the company started manufacturing of Calcium Carbide. The 2.5MVA furnace was converted for the production of Ferro Alloys with primary focus on the production of Ferro Silicon and Silico Manganese. The production capacity increased further from 2012 by installing another 6.0MVA furnace for the manufacture of Silico Manganese using local manganese ore. We are the one of the largest manufacturer of ferro silicon and silico manganese in Zambia. The company is planning an additional capacity by installation of a 9.0MVA furnace.

The company’s products are marketed locally and in the neighbouring countries of East Africa, Central Africa and South Africa. With the planned increase in capacity the company will export its products to Middle East and Europe. In South Africa Company have long term supply contracts with Steel Mills in recognition of its consistent production, quality and customer service.
