The Directors of Jupiter Mines Limited (“JMS”) are pleased to advise of the successful divestment of its Oakover manganese project.

On 30 May 2014, JMS entered into a Sale Agreement with Pilbara Manganese Pty Limited (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Consolidated Minerals Limited) for sale of 100% of the five tenements that comprise the manganese project.

The sale was completed on 4 June 2014, and the sale proceeds have been remitted to the Company.

The divestment of Jupiter’s non-core assets is in line with the Company’s strategy to focus on the ramp up of the Tshipi manganese mine to its nameplate capacity, and to fast track the optimisation of its Mount Mason DSO Hematite project, after the recent expansion announcement regarding the port of Esperance.
