[Ferro-alloys.com] Magnesium market was blooming with active transactions due to the increasing demand from consumers. Most of the Mg ingot producers are in full capability with very few or almost no stockpiles in plants.
The Mg ingots 99.9% prices by cash in China were as follows, Ningxia, RMB14,900-15,000/mt, Shanxi, RMB14,900-15,100/mt and Shaanxi RMB14,500-14,700/mt. And Mg alloy price was at RMB16,400/mt in Shanxi. In respect of the export market, exporters indicated there were almost no transactions at the price of USD2,500-2,2550/mt FOB, which was a reasonable price converted from the domestic price.
On one hand, most of producers have no spot materials when they were producing in full capability, leading a tight supply in market. On the other hand, the demands from consumers are increasing. Both would activate the suppliers to raise the price in the future.
