Ex-work price of CaSi30# was RMB11,700/mt (USD1,918, export duty excluded) and 28# was RMB11,500/mt (USD1,885, export duty excluded) in Inner Mongolia. while in Hanzhong area of Shaanxi province, delivered price of CaSi30# was RMB11,600/mt (USD1,902, export duty excluded) and 28# was RMB11,000/mt (USD1,803, export duty excluded) at port. CaSi export prices were as following: CaSi30#USD2,180-2,200/mt FOB, CaSi28# USD2,100-2,130/mt FOB.

 

Under weak economic condition, the inventories were in high levels at steels’ warehouses. The transaction of steel products was not that active on spot market. Meanwhile, overcapacity and falling prices may lead more private steel mills into bankruptcy in future. As a result, demand for CaSi materials decreased, causing prices to fall. On the whole, CaSi transaction was normal and most orders were from old clients. Considering the inactive demand, it’s thought that CaSi price may have less momentum to increase in a short time.
