[Ferro-alloys.com] At the industrial transformation and upgrading conference on February 28, Hebei governmental officials set the goal for 2014 industrial development. Investment in industrial development would gain a growth rate of 18% and that in industrial transformation and upgrading would gain a growth rate of 21%.
For the sake of environmental development of Hebei industrial sector, Hebei government would implement highly strict environmental indicators and access to industrial projects. Hebei province said definitely no to steel and iron, cement, plate glass which were in excessive supply and new projects of ferroalloy production. Differentiated power price and water price would get improved in 2014.
