PrintMetalBiz reported that US's stainless steel and special steel supply is low and silicon steel is exception. Currently, grain oriented silicon steel price is slipping.
One market observer pointed out that most of the stainless and special steel products carried out the clearing off stockpile activity, but the silicon steel does not reach a balance. The supply of home appliance, auto and others decreased to the lowest level, if the demand rebounds so many, some special metal will face the short supply.
It is learned that at present, the low grade 3M grain oriented silicon spot price lingers USD 3,100 to USD 3,300 per tonne and the high grade product price is USD 3,300 to USD 3,700 per tonne.
